Sukhoi Superjet 100
The Sukhoi Superjet 100 is a modern aircraft in the 75- to 95-seat category and fly-by-wire regional jet. The Sukhoi Superjet 100 development starting in 2000, the airliner was designed by the civil aircraft division of the Russian aerospace company Sukhoi in co-operation with it`s main partner Boeing
Sukhoi Superjet 100 is a brand new Russian-built passenger plane in an attempt to revive the civil aviation industry of post-Soviet.
Superjet 100 is starting its first commercial flight last year. Superjet 100 crash in Indonesia this is a first for a commercial airliner Sukhoi.
The aircraft was a Russian hopes to become a major player in modern aviation market. Also improve its image by considering the number of accidents involving older airplanes made ??in the Soviet Union era.
Mentioned, these aircraft can carry 98 passengers and can roam up to a distance of 3048 kilometers to the basic version, or 4578 kilometers for long-distance version of the aircraft, the flying height of up to 12 200 meters. Competitors is Embaer (Brazil) and Bombardier (Canada).
There are now only two airlines that use the Superjet 100, which is Aeroflot (Russia) and Armavia (Armenia). Nevertheless, a number of airlines have ordered it. His first flight operated by Armavia in April 2011, followed several months later Aeroflot.

Sukhoi Superjet 100 Specification
Energy saving all-LED passenger cabin lightning helps airlines decrease maintenance costs on lighting.
Super economics results from crew training cost reduction when operating different types of the SSJ100 aircraft as a single fleet. Furthermore, this advantage stems from easy-to-reach maintenance zones, 20% reduction in the number of modular engine components (SaM146) and 10% cutback in fuel consumption.
The SSJ100 or Shukoi Superjet 100 aerodynamic configuration is specifically optimized for high cruise M-speed. That is why speed increase does not lead to a dramatic increase in fuel consumption.
When compared with its rivals bound to fly at M 0.75 – 0.76 to stay in economic mode, SSJ100 has higher cruise speed.
Sukhoi Superjet 100 offers 10% decrease of operation costs due to its weight perfection, economic fuel consumption and lower maintenance costs.
Super Fuel Efficiency:
Noise and emissions levels of SSJ100 meet the strictest ecological demands and surpass the highest existing and future ICAO requirements. And Fuel efficiency is secured by the third generation supercritical airfoil wing and excellent local aerodynamics.
All this combined with perfectly balanced aircraft control laws in autopilot mode add to fuel consumption savings. Weight perfection and the SaM146 engine, tailored for this aircraft family, reduce fuel consumption per seat by 10% compared to its rivals.
